STEAM stands for  Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. At DWS, STEAM class exists to provide hands-on science and art learning incorporating engineering and math while introducing students to new and emerging technologies. This class reinforces the standards taught in each grade level science course and introduces age-appropriate art skills. After completing this course, students will be prepared to enter the STEM pathway offered at DeKalb County High School.
